Climbing

The After School program at the Santa Fe Climbing Center creates a stimulating environment in which climbers at all levels will push their physical and mental limits while having fun and exploring the world of indoor rock climbing! The challenges and climbing games led by our experienced instructors promote teamwork, confidence, flexibility, balance, problem solving and more. Our After School programs meet once a week from 3:45-5:15pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, 1:30-3:00 on Friday, and 12:30-2:00pm on Saturday. Our first session starts the week of August 17th.The After School Classes are divided in the following age groups, 5-8 year old and 9 & up climbers and the cost is $160.00 for 8 weeks. We also have our Youth Climbing Teams available for those with more experience on Mondays & Wednesdays for Rec Team members and Tuesdays & Thursdays for Comp Team members. 3008 Cielo Court. Looking for a fun, immersive, not-boring way for your child to learn Spanish this summer? Caravelas Summer Spanish Sessions is a small group, an experience where kids learn through play, movement, music, and real conversation. Our small classes give students the personalized attention they need.
Group 1: Little Explorers (Ages 5–8)
Focus: Introduce the Spanish language through play, music, stories, and
movement.
Each class includes:
- Greetings and basic introductions
- Colors, numbers, animals, body parts
- Simple everyday phrases
- Thematic vocabulary through songs and storytelling
- Expressions for emotions and daily routines
Method: Multisensory learning using puppets, games, songs, drama, and hands-on crafts. Emphasis is placed on listening comprehension and oral expression in a nurturing environment.
Group 2: Curious Navigators (Ages 9–11)
Focus: Expand understanding and oral expression using simple Spanish structures and practical vocabulary.
Each class includes:
- Introducing themselves and talking about personal topics
- Describing people, objects, and places
- Asking and answering basic questions
- Participating in role-plays and mini-dialogues
- Reading and understanding short texts
Method: Dynamic lessons with visual support, dramatization, language games, age-appropriate songs, guided writing, and collaborative activities. Emphasis is placed on interaction and active language use.

Home School Explorations Series at Explora – Fall 2026

September 21–December 8, 2026 | K–9th Grade

Be curious, discover, experiment! Registration is now open for Explora’s Fall 2026 Home School Explorations Series, offering weekly, 75-minute hands-on science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) classes led by Explora educators. Each materials-rich session encourages students to question, investigate, experiment, and make discoveries while building skills in observation, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and innovation. Topics change each semester.

Days/Class Times: Mondays, 1:00–2:15 pm, Tuesdays, 10:30–11:45am and 1:00–2:15pm.

Cost: Explora Members: $135 per child/semester | Non-members: $150 per child/semester
